Coloring Between the Lines

Stripes My work has always been about color, and it's been a way for me to bring to life everyday scenes around the great city of Washington that might be overlooked otherwise. Although I shoot digitally, I've always intended the final output to be print, and these images are adjusted for the print gamut.

Tech Notes
Most of these pictures were taken with a 4 mega-pixel Nikon CoolPix or a 3 mega-pixel Sony Cybershot. I use a Macintosh with Photoshop and my prints are made on an Epson ink jet onto archival art paper.

About Dan Schwartz

Dan I have a hard time seeing myself as a photographer, but looking back on the last couple of years, I guess it was inevitable. Now, along with the computer, my tool of choice is the camera. I live in the DC area, work full time in both marketing and design, do freelance design work, and teach Computer Design for Fine Art at GWU. In my free time I try and get out doors and eat good food.
