These photos are the result of an afternoon of wandering alone with my camera in Santa Barbara, California. Jammed between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Santa Barbara packs more extreme natural beauty into every square foot than any other place I've seen.
With these photos, I didn't try to capture that beauty; rather, the ordinary people and things that live around it.
